Meeting called to order by Dr. Marquart at 10:00 a.m. and adjourned at 10:45 a.m.

Attendees: James Marquart, Craig Ness, Priscilla Parsons, Vicki McNeil, Joe Nordgren, Brenda Nichols, Juan Zabala, Charla Pate, Arne Almquist, Srinivas Palanki, John Ellis and Bob Adams.

□   Not all active programs are reported in this report.  Examples of projects not reported include server replacements, Oracle upgrades, Active Directory re-architecture, Degreeworks upgrade for LIT, LSCO, and LU and system patch maintenance.  IT currently has 12 projects in the project portfolio being tracked.

□   Unplanned Outages –  none

□   Dale Lack retired and Tom Conley no longer works at Lamar.

□   Conducting security awareness training in Finance and HR. Will be circulating security awareness training and policy. New employees will be expected to complete specific training modules.

3.       John Ellis

Will reach out to Priscilla’s office and request a meeting to discuss changing the default browser page when a student signs in on a computer on campus to allow faster access to the services used by students and also discuss focus groups.

5.       Srinivas Palanki

Cayuse SP software implementation is on schedule. Hope to be online by Fall 2019. There are issues with establishing entity’s in the system to complete the process.

Identify Finder: Juan requested a list of confidential information to look for on computers.

□   Analytics are being implemented in Finance and HR.

□   Changing process concerning requests for transferring employee’s direct deposit.

□   Discussed ERP long term and will discuss further either in April or May’s meeting.

11.   Arne Almquist

Looking at the flow of information (collecting data/ finding/disseminating). Examining the CRM and talking with employees on campus and Ellucian. Should have a recommendation soon.

12.   Bob Adams

□   Resources have been secured with Ellucian to start functional testing on the HR module and the production work on the Ethos platform. Will make an appointment with Dr. Marquart to discuss.

□   Discussed Summer 2019 PC refresh and Windows 7 remediation.

□   Some Facilities personnel have started ServiceNow training in order to phase out SchoolDude (software used for work orders).
