Meeting Minutes

Attendees: Rachel Hoover, Trina Nolen, Charla Pate, Gary Rash, Shellie Richter, Jeff Bell.

Agenda –

Action Items: Charla provided an update, Kyle/Gary provide the group with info after mtg

  1. Covid-19 Accessibility Task Force – the meeting was postponed due to the storm.  Gary and Kyle M will meet on Sept 22nd to discuss plans and share details with the group.

 

  1. Shellie R. – shared information about the different assistive technologies on campus that are needing some updates and fixes. This includes Fusion and other campuses AT.

 

  1. Charla P. – Her team has been working to upgrade the LU website. She is currently working to address the contrast concerns for self-service banner and will provide an update. 

 

  1. Rachel H. – Updated the group that Red talks will be getting underway, their appointments are up and usage for STAR services has increased.

 

  1. Kyle M – shared, the DRC will be having the 2nd annual DRC Recognition Reception on November 9th. DRC will be creating an assistive tech lab webpage for information and to help schedule appointments, find information, and request workshops.
