Approval of minutes September Minutes – notes from September in Teams vote to accept notes passed. Shelly will email formal minutes to members after the meeting. Vote to accept notes
Introduction – Andrea Stephenson. Andrea spoke about the process for new programs. For a fall start date - Expect at minimum one year to complete the process. June 1 is the deadline for items to be in the catalog.
Kyle Boudreaux updated everyone about the implantation of Light cast. Labor Marketing data. This is used to check labor market for new programs.
Dr. Jator shared the training scheduled for Wednesday, October 22 regarding Accreditation, Assessment and Curriculum. DARpA will also provide information at this training. Everyone is encouraged to attend.
Bylaws – old bylaws should be updated to align with the current membership that Faculty Senate approved in Spring. Edits were provided to the committee for review and approval.
A motion was made to approve the changes. Seconded and passed. Shelly will update the Curriculum page.
Curriculum items:
New Program Proposal - BAAS in Applied Film Studies. Bradley Mayer gave updates about the BAAS – Concerns regarding pre-req’s for courses but not included on the program. Notes added to CourseLeaf regarding concerns.
