1. Paula Nichols, Committee Chair, called the meeting to order.  The following ten people were present for the committee meeting:

2. Review prior meeting minutes: The minutes were reviewed and approved.

3. Blackboard has many new updates:
   1. InstaMessaging
   2. Collaborated videos
   3. Content tool – this will allow to update instructional documents
   4. Dual Credit and Leap program growth is up.

4. Kaltura will allow students to upload videos and make presentations.

5. New online Course Proposals

• MM- Master of Music - additional information is needed before approval by committee: address campus program, development cost.
• Certificate in Power & Energy for Electrical Engineering, additional information is needed.
• COSC 5340-48F – Approved and moved forward
• MGMT 5311-48F – Approved and moved forward
• Revision MGMT 3320-48F – Not approved

6. It was brought to the committee’s attention that anyone that is submitting an online course proposal should be present at the committee meeting to answer any questions.
7. Digital Ticket for Distance Learning will be held on Thursday May 19, 2016
