IAC Meeting

April 19, 2018

Attendance:  Born, Chu, Bradley, DuPre, Mayer, Mulvaney, Spina, Thill, Trylowsky & Zaloom

Meeting called to order at 2:25 pm

Dr. Chu – Thanked everyone for coming to the meeting and introduced our new Director of Athletics, Marco         Born.  Everyone introduced themselves to Mr. Born.

Born –   Stated that the Athletic Council is important to what we do in Athletics and that Administrative Side of    LU and the Athletic side of LU need to work together.  He told the group a little about himself.  He has            scheduled 1:1 meetings with all full-time athletic staff and is meeting with donors.

Questions from group:

                Trylowsky– What area of Athletics needs the greatest amount of fundraising?

                Born – The Cardinal Club and Baseball needs a facility update.

                Spina – How can we help you?

                Born – Share with me what to look out for.  Are there people I need to be introduced to? I’m happy to     talk to any group.  If there is something we aren’t doing, be candid with me and tell me.  We need     to work together.

                Trylowsy – Suggested he talk to the Rotary Club.  She will make arrangements.

Chu – This is the last meeting of the semester.  He will send out the calendar for next semester’s meetings.
