  • Academics always come first. It’s 2 full-time jobs, academics and athletics.
  • Coaches do class checks and attendance is mandatory.
  • Progress reports are received three times a semester and are addressed with the student-athletes.
  • The coaches collect syllabi and each coach is responsible for 4-5 student-athletes.
  • Weekly meetings with their academic coach.
  • Team GPA is a 3.1. We are proud of that as our student-athletes have serious majors.
  • Was at Miami for 20 years and every student-athlete graduated.
  • The team comes in for summer II each year so most players are graduating as juniors.
  • APR is important and deals with eligibility and retention. It was a 933 when recruited to coach here and now is much higher.
  • Athletically, we were 22-8. Two players with national recognition, Kiandra Bowers (offensive rebounds), Chastadie Barrs (Lead nation in steals).
  • Signed two new players early and both could be starting next year.

Dr. Chu – Congratulated Coach Harmony on her and her team’s job on and off the court.
