No. Ad Astra will continue to be used exclusively for scheduling academic courses. In contrast, 25Live will become the official campus system for all other event and space reservations, including areas within academic buildings that are available for meetings or events not tied to academic missions. 25Live will automatically cross-reference course schedules so you don't accidentally double-book a space. And classrooms being used for courses won't show up in searches for meeting rooms or event spaces.
All faculty and staff will have access to 25Live through single sign-on (SSO). Baseline access allows you to search for available spaces and submit room requests.
Certain roles- like event personnel, Ad Astra approvers, and building managers- will have higher-level permissions to manage their spaces. We're currently identifying these users, and anyone who needs elevated access after launch can request it through a simple form.
External clients can view available spaces and event personnel will assist them with reservations.
