Construction Project Management Certificate

Learn how to deliver timely, competitive and safe construction projects.

The Construction Project Management Certificate in the MBA Program teaches you 15 semester hours of planning, scheduling and managing construction projects, their legal and safety implications, with the option to learn additional estimating or sustainability practices. To complete the certificate program, students must earn 12 out of the 15 required credit hours.

You will also learn how to navigate industry-utilized software Primavera P6 and HeavyBid.

Admission Requirements

You must have a Bachelor’s degree with a 2.75 GPA from an accredited university. If you graduated from Lamar University with a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management, you are not eligible for this certificate.

Certificate Requirements

You must obtain an overall 3.0 GPA for all of the required classes, with a “C” or higher in each class.
