Distance Advising

Advising is one of the most significant components of a student's successful college experience, and the foundation of a good advising experience is a strong relationship between the advisor and the student. Students are encouraged to see their Undergraduate Advising Center (UAC) advisor in person because this is the best way for you to cultivate a relationship.  For this reason, telephone appointments are scheduled under specific circumstances.  Distance advising requires the student to be at a laptop or desktop computer with Internet access.

Distance Advising with Your UAC Advisor

  1. Complete this Distance Advising Authorization Form to request an appointment with your advisor over the phone. This request is valid for only one distance advising session.  A new form must be completed for any future requests.
  2. A representative from the UAC will contact you regarding your request within 1 to 2 business days to schedule your advising appointment.
