Five faculty members announced winners of Research Enhancement Grant
The Office of Research and Sponsored Programs is pleased to announce that five faculty members have been awarded the 2019/2020 Research Enhancement Grant.
The grants are divided into two categories - Proposal Writing, which is funded up to $15,000 and Research and Creative Activity, funded for up to $5,000.
The Lamar University Research Council reviewed the 35 applications that were submitted in July via Competition Space and selected winners based on specific criteria.
Applications were evaluated for a clear description of objectives, use of sound methodology, evidence of applicant’s knowledge of related research, evidence that the research may result in publication or recognition in other professional venues and the relative contribution of the work product to the stock of knowledge in the respective field or discipline.
