Lamar University 2015 Summer Camps
Lamar University invites students of all ages to a variety of summer camps to be held on campus this summer. Camps are offered for a variety of ages and interests with both daily and residential opportunities.
Football — June 8-9, youth camp for students entering grades 1-8; June 10, high school camp at Pearland High School for students entering grades 9-12; June 11, high school camp at Cy-Falls High School for students entering grades 9-12; July 18, high school camp at Lamar University for students entering grades 9-12; June 11, high school camp at Euless Trinity for students entering grades 9-12; June 12, high school camp at Mesquite for students entering grades 9-12. Soccer — There will be two sessions, July 6-10 and July 20-24, for boys and girls ages 4-17. Both sessions will consist of half-day and full-day camps. Contact (409) 880-7595 or visit www.lamarsoccercamp.com.

Volleyball — Youth camp will be held July 11-12. Individual skills camps will be held June 8-10 and July 6-8. A setting and attacking clinic will be held June 15-16, and a serving and defense clinic will be held June 17-18. Varsity team camp will be held July 10-11. Aquatics — Children ages one year and older can register for swimming lessons in person May 19-20. Group sessions last nine days and are 45 minutes long. Individual sessions for children ages five years and older last four days and are 30 minutes long. All sessions will be held at the Lamar Health and Human Performance Complex indoor pool. Lamar Speech Pathology Articulation Boot Camp — July 6-29 on Mondays and Wednesdays for children with speech delays and impairments. ExxonMobil Bernard Harris Summer Science Camp — June 14-26. The ExxonMobil Bernard Harris Summer Science Camp is a residential camp for students who are currently in grades 6-8 and who have at least a B-average in science and mathematics and a passing score on the state’s standardized science and mathematics tests. Pre-College Summer Art Program — High school students ages 14-18 are eligible for the camp. The session will last from July 20-24.
