Welcome to the Texas Women in Higher Education Conference at Lamar University! This conference will be held on Friday, June 13th on the 8th floor of the Mary and John Gray Library. Please view the agenda, important dates, and important information sections for detailed information about the event.
About TWHE
Texas Women in Higher Education (TWHE) is a Texas non-profit corporation dedicated to developing, advancing and supporting women employed at colleges and universities across the state. TWHE is committed to providing its members with the skills needed to reach leadership positions and to enhancing the leadership skills of those already there.
TWHE is the American Council on Education (ACE) Women’s Network state organization for Texas. The TWHE Board of Directors works with its state coordinators who serve as the liaison to the ACE Women’s Network, institutional representatives who serve as the liaison to each institution’s campus, and at least one presidential sponsor. Together they develop programs that identify, develop, encourage, advance, link, and support women in higher education careers within the state.

- Conference handouts will be sent via email on May 22nd to participants who have received an invitation.
- Lunch and Refreshments will be provided as a part of registration.*
- Professional Headshots will be available for purchase. if you would like to purchase 3 headshots (web and print quality) for $30, you will need to arrive at 9:30am. it will be first come first serve as time is permitted. Payments will be made (cash, check, or credit card) directly to Flora Padilla Photography.
