Bikes and Shuttles

Riding bikes a pollution-free mode of transportation and reduces the need to build, service and dispose of cars. It is a cost-effective mode of transportation when compared to personal motor vehicles and public transportation. Bikes are free to operate and maintenance is inexpensive. Best of all, bike riding is a healthy option.

Many students on campus ride bikes. The campus has a bike repair rack in front of Gentry Hall and is identifying bike paths throughout campus.

Lamar University has a shuttle to take students to various locations such as residence halls, apartments, and shopping malls.
