Morgan Pulliam

Morgan Pulliam is the Coordinator for Student Engagement in the Setzer Student Center. She is a first-generation college student and has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Stephen F. Austin State University, and a Master of Education in Higher Education and Student Affairs from the University of Arkansas. She loves the State of Texas and working at Lamar. Her favorite thing about what she does at Lamar is the diverse group of students she gets to work with. She not only oversees all 150+ student organizations, and serves as the CPC advisor, she also is a mentor for the LU Lead, which is a leadership certificate program. 



Dr. Freddie Titus
Advisor for NPHC Fraternities and Sororities

Dr. Titus has served as NPHC Advisor with distinction and provides guidance to the student leaders of four sororities and four fraternities on the LU campus, helping them “develop leadership across campus,” he said. “The impact of developing leaders results in increased academic achievement and involvement across campus.” Dr. Titus has also served as faculty advisor to Student Government Association, receiving Faculty Advisor of the Year Recognition, 1998-2010, and in 2013. He was also honored as a Living Legend in Recognition of Outstanding Leadership in 2015 by the ExxonMobil Black Employee Success Team. He has a B.S. in mathematics and industrial engineering from Lamar University. He also holds a Master’s degree in curriculum and instruction from McNeese State University and an Ed.D. in curriculum and instruction - math education from The University of Houston. Dr. Titus is a proud founder and director of the Psalm 150 Gospel Choir and the Psalm 150 Youth and Young Adult Retreat.



Canaan Daniels

Canaan Daniels, Associate Director for Programming and Events, Setzer Student Center came to Lamar in May 2019. Originally from Winchester, Illinois, he earned a Bachelor of Social Work from Western Illinois University in 2014 and a Master of Science in College Student Affairs from Eastern Illinois University in 2016. Canaan came from Stephen F. Austin State University, where he spent three years advising their programming board and overseeing experiential learning opportunities for student organizations. Canaan is also an involved member of the National Association for Campus Activities, where he currently serves as the Student Projects Team Lead for the Central Region. At Lamar, Canaan now oversees the Cardinals Activities Board, Student Tailgate, & Homecoming events for students. He currently resides on the west end of Beaumont with his three dogs and his wife Reba, who also works for Lamar as the Coordinator for Cardinal Communities.

Maegan Collins is an Instructor of Political Science at LU. Prior to this, she served as the Assistant Director of Undergraduate Advising and as a Career Consultant. As an undergrad, she was an involved student leader and member of Alpha Delta Pi. Ms. Collins has been the faculty advisor for Delta Xi Nu and Kappa Delta Chi for over two years. Ms. Collins is also involved in The Junior League of Beaumont, Leadership Beaumont, and the Lamar University Alumni Advisory Board.

Marie Murray is the Assistant Director of Health Education Services at the Student Health Center. She graduated from the University of Connecticut with a BS in Nutritional Sciences, where she also became a member of Alpha Epsilon Phi. Marie followed her passion and graduated from Baylor University with a Masters in Public Health. In recent years, Marie has actively worked with the LU Greek Community to provide support and in the past year became a Greek organization campus advisor. Marie also works to support the Beaumont community through her membership in the Junior League of Beaumont.
