As an international student, I was looking for a business school that is AACSB accredited and gives me the best value and return which can help me develop professionally. I found Lamar University’s College of Business perfectly fitting into my criteria and when I saw LU’s serene, peaceful environment and fun activities side by side, I knew LU was the one!

Having professors who are not only knowledgeable, but also easily approachable is probably a unique experience to me. Coming from Nepal, LU has become my home away from home. My boyfriend, who is also my best friend, was always there for me during my journey, keeping me headstrong. He believed I could, so I did! Also, shout out to my family back home!

The biggest lesson I’ve learned during my time here at Lamar University is that with determination and patience, “when the going gets tough, tough gets going.” I’m excited for what the future holds and I feel ready to dive into the data analytics field helping Management teams make data driven decisions.
