"There have been some bumps and bruises along the way, but I wouldn't trade it for the the world!"

My mom and brother have been my biggest supporters since coming to Lamar. Whether it was financially, mentally, or emotionally. Being the first member of my family to graduate from college has allowed me to set examples for my son and others to follow. The days felt incredibly long while the years seemed to have flown by.

I have been able to meet friends from all across the Country, join fraternities, Organizations, win Homecoming Prince, and play College football. There have been some bumps and bruises along the way, but I wouldn't' trade it for the the world! What's next for me after graduation? I will be starting my career as a Police officer with the Houston Police Department!
