Lamar University online M.B.A. and education master’s programs recognized

College Choice has recognized three of Lamar University’s online master’s degree programs in their rankings, and Online M.B.A. Today has ranked LU among the top online M.B.A. programs in Texas.

LU's programs have ranked No. 8 in Most Affordable Online Master's in Gifted & Talented Education, No. 8 in Best Online Master's in Gifted & Talented Education, and No. 15 in Most Affordable Online Master's in Special Education.

College Choice rankings come from a team trained in advanced data aggregation and analysis through key college stats including quality, reputation, affordability, value, and satisfaction. In order to be included in their rankings, each school must be an accredited public or private institution.

Lamar offers an M.Ed. in Teacher Leadership with specialization in Gifted and Talented. In this program, students learn how to promote student achievements by focusing on creative needs and academic potential. Courses are designed to meet the educational requirements of the Council on Exceptional Children.

Going through Lamar University’s M.Ed. in Special Education program is designed to prepare teachers to serve children across the spectrum of special education. Its curriculum includes important elements on designing learning environments, analyzing behavior and conducting research. A specialization track is specifically for a teacher who wants to add an additional specialization to their professional area of teaching.

Online M.B.A. Today recently published its rankings of the Top Online M.B.A. Programs in Texas, placing LU’s program No. 13 overall from a listing of nearly 490 online M.B.A. programs available in the state. Programs were ranked based on estimated tuition cost, accreditation, average base salary, and prestige among other educational ranking systems.
