LU recognized for affordable online nursing master’s degrees
Lamar University was recently ranked in the Top 20 most affordable online nursing master’s degree programs by College Choice.

Lamar University online program offers students the opportunity to specialize in two areas, either in Nursing Administration or in Nursing Education. The Nursing Administration track is intended to give registered nurses the advanced knowledge they need to excel in organization, management, leadership, and health care policy. Nursing Administration courses and related business support courses in financial accounting, economics, and marketing prepare students to succeed in the rapidly changing healthcare environment. The Nursing Education track gives registered nurses the knowledge and skills necessary to become nurse educators in academic or a variety of other settings.
Lamar University is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges, and the nursing program in the Joanne Gay Dishman School of Nursing is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN).
