What browser should I use?

We strongly recommend that you use the latest version of Firefox as your browser when accessing your online course work.

How do I know what my username and password is?

For assistance with issues concerning your username and/or password you are required to contact the university help desk at (409) 880-2222 or Toll Free at 1-866-585-1738.

My course videos won't play. What should I do?

The first step is to make sure you are using the latest version of firefox as your browser. See the "What browser should I use?" area for more information.

Next make sure your adobe flash player is up to date. To do so download and install the latest version from
Next try clearing your internet history. Instructions for doing so can be found at
If your videos will still not load/play after completing the previous steps you may need to try using another computer.

What software is required for online courses?

The software required may vary by course but here are some applications that are almost always necessary.

Where do I get support for publisher resources (e.g. MyLabs, McGrawHill Connect, WebAssign)?
