Lamar University Information Technology is preparing to launch a new LEA account management system that will provide an improved experience for managing your university LEA account credentials and DUO devices.
The new system will offer a modern, secure way to manage password-related activities and account access.
Our goal is to make this transition as smooth as possible while enhancing the tools available to help you manage your account securely.

Lamar University is introducing a new Password Reset/LEA Account Portal. The system offers a user-friendly way to manage your LEA account, including setting your password, finding your username, updating recovery information, and DUO device management.
You will no longer need to retrieve a temporary password through the Self-Service Banner.

If you already have an active LEA account, you do not need to take any action before the new system is available. Your current LEA account, LU email address, and access to university resources will continue to work as they do today. It is recommended to login and validate your recovery information in the LEA account portal and verify your personal email in the Self-Service Banner.
