Apply Online for Spring 2019 Graduation

From January 22-April 2, you may apply online for graduation through your Self-Service Banner under the tab called "Student Records." You may not apply for graduation until you have received an email from the registrar's office that invites you to apply. Check your LU email frequently for this invitation.

Mandatory Thesis-Dissertation Workshops

February 4, 5, and 6: face-to-face thesis/dissertation workshops will be offered on formatting and then submitting your work and all accompanying documentation to Graduate Studies before graduation. You only need to choose one day to attend; you will fill out a registration form that verifies your attendance and other information.

If you are unable to attend a face-to-face workshop, there are screencasts available in Blackboard that you can view in lieu of attending; your digital attendance will be verified. Contact or call (409) 880-8230 if you have any questions or concerns.

Spring 2019 Oral Exams and Defenses

Final Thesis-Dissertation Deadlines

  • Pay your binding fees to the cashier - Wimberly 114 or online at Self Service Banner
  • Deliver your signature page, complete except for Dean William Harn's signature, to the editor in Wimberly 219.
  • Submit your final, corrected electronic thesis or dissertation no later than today at 5 pm to
