Installment Payment Plan for Tuition and Fees

The Installment Payment Plan is only available for Fall and Spring semesters.

LU ONLINE ACCELERATED PROGRAM STUDENTS:
ONLY Academic Partnership/Risepoint students in eight-week programs are eligible for an Installment Plan. Once you log into your student account and choose to enroll in the Academic Partnership payment plan you will see the payment due dates and payment amounts due.These dates will be different from the traditional installment due dates listed below.

Academic Partnership students in the 5-week programs are ineligible for the Installment Payment Plan or the Deferment Plan. You can pay your balance course by course.



Incomplete applications will not be processed. No bills will be mailed. Payment reminders will be sent to the student's lamar.edu email address prior to each payment due date set by the Cashier's office.

A down-payment of $50 is required to enroll in the plan.

Installment Fee - $20.00
Late Payment Fee - $15.00 per installment

Quarterly Payments are due by the following dates:
  • At time of enrollment - $50 down-payment
  • January 13, 2026 - 25% of total bill (1st installment)
  • February 3, 2026 - 25% of total bill (2nd installment)
  • February 20, 2026 - 25% of total bill (3rd installment)
  • March 9, 2026 - 25% of total bill (4th installment)

How to Enroll

  • To enroll in the Installment Payment Plan, go to lamar.edu/pay and under Payment Options choose Option 2. 
  • Then click on student account to access your self-service account and choose Enroll in Payment Plan.
