Research Interests

Current research focus is on developing Internet-interventions as a means of accessible, affordable, evidence-based healthcare and adapting these for specific cultures. Further research-related contributions have been related to:

  • Identifying effective ways of addressing the increasing demand for and the cost of healthcare provision in the context of a chronic disability
  • Developing accessible, evidence-based healthcare with a focus on improving outcomes for patients
  • Promoting patient empowerment and engagement in healthcare
  • Understanding chronic disabilities and facilitators to achieve optimal health outcomes
  • Provision of high-quality research models and frameworks
