Twirling

The Lamar University Twirler Day Camp is open to twirlers from first grade through senior year in high school.

The camp is led by USTA Certified Coach, Dina Bordelon. Camp counselors will be current LU Cardinalette Twirlers!

Our mission is to share our love of twirling with our community while helping others improve their abilities and learn new skills. We will offer classes in twirling fundamentals, dance twirl, twirling tricks, two & three baton, body work classes and twirling auxiliaries.

Color Guard

The Lamar University Color Guard Day Camp is open to guard members from 6th grade through senior year in high school.

The camp is taught by LU Guard Instructor and Barber's Hill Band Director, Andrew Kier. Camp counselors will be current LU Guard members!

Our mission is to share our love of Color Guard with our community and help students to improve their abilities and learn new skills. We will offer classes in flag, rifle, and saber.

 

 

Camp Cost: $125

What is included: Instruction by Dina Bordelon or Andrew Kier and select LU Cardinalettes/Color Guard members, and a camp t-shirt.

Location: LU Campus, exact locations will be listed in the Handbook

Times: July 12-14, 2018, 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. each day.
