LUMA

The Lamar University Media Alliance (LUMA), consisting of KVLU public radio (91.3 FM); LUTV Productions and LUTV 7 Cablecasting provides outreach programming to serve the general public and hands-on instructional opportunities for students. Working under authority of the College of Fine Arts and Communication, LUMA also equips and maintains Labs and equipment for video creators and podcasting (individual and group) in the Department of Communication and Media. LUMA’s website and Facebook pages serve as a clearinghouse for student production in broadcast and in new media.
