Allegoria Dell' Allegoria by Chloe Thompson

"My work is collectively based on my experiences abroad, knowledge acquired throughout my studies, and expression of the most ethereal of human emotions via visual communication. This thesis is a series of large-scale mixed media drawings on canvas that each represent an individual allegory. These drawings were completed by use of conte, charcoal, acrylic paint, and other unique media. Each allegory is represented by a figure that is posed in a manner that reflects their resepctive allegory and is accompanied by appropriate props. Each figure represents their allegory emotionally and are meant to evoke an emotional reaction in the viewer."
