Mandatory Physical Inventory

DUE June 15th

Lamar University is conducting an annual physical inventory of all equipment.



Each department's Property Custodian is responsible for taking inventory of that department's equipment. Please work with your department(s) to verify the most recent Inventory list, make sure the file name is ("department abbreviation" - EDIT.xlxs).

If everything on your inventory list is correct and in need of no further edits please have the Property Custodian sign the "Physical inventory certification" form sent to you with the departments inventory list, and submit to Logisticalsupport@lamar.edu.

Approval

After the department(s) has completed updating the Inventory form(s), the form(s) needs to be approved by the Property Custodian(s). This will be the authorization for Property Management to either dispose of or transfer assets.

 

Submission

Approved inventory forms need to be returned to Property Management by 5pm Tuesday, June 15th, 2021.

 

Updated Inventory Report

If you desire a listing of the updated inventory in excel format, please inform Property Management when the form is returned or email the request to cmorris13@lamar.edu. An updated report will be sent to all who request one.
