Meeting called to order by Dr. Marquart at 10:00 a.m. and adjourned at 10:30 a.m.

1.Monthly Status Report Discussion

    • October go-live complete

      • 3 workflows developed;

    • Post Implementation “as is” audit scheduled for July 31st - complete
      • Areas of conversation included: applications, test scores, and supplemental items; territory management; Twilio texting; suspect auto qualification; post admissions data imports (housing, orientation, etc); student web front end.

    • Phase I – Internal IT work order processing – complete; Legacy Unicenter system decommissioned

    • FY 18 refresh is expected to include a portion of faculty and administrative office computers and study labs.

    • LU Mobile App migration
    • Banner 9 adoption – INB (level of adoption & use varies because Banner 8 remains available; Banner 8 becomes unsupported Dec 2018)
    • Multi-factor authentication – complete (612 registered users)
    • 90% complete on the Audio-visual project on the 8th floor of the Library

2. Academic Computing Committee

  • Sri conducted a presentation regarding the encryption project. Phase I was completed on October 9th.
  • Security Awareness Program briefing
  • Paula Nichols mentioned that approximately 45% scheduled credit hours are online, 14 programs, 12 graduate programs (included research) and 1 doctorate program
  • Johnny Jarrell presented a Blackboard update
  • Next meeting is tomorrow, November 2nd.
