Minutes for CID Meeting Sept 23, 2020 3:30-4:30 via TEAMS

1. Discussion on Issues that we may wish to have more input on and the exec committee may work on, such as the following. Please send more ideas/issues to the Exec committee.

- Inclusion/diversity

- Are chairs admin or faculty or combination thereof? How represented in Faculty Handbook?

- More CID input on chair procedures

- Transparency/communication- more frequent and accessible notifications of hires, new policies, etc.

- COVID concerns

2. Discuss topics for future meetings. Perhaps presentations on the above.
3. Later need to fill in new chairs from College of Business and COB representative on Exec.
4. And need to know if Directors etc. will be part of CID. Exec will take this up to see if need to change the CID bylaws.
5. 2020/2021 CID committee liaison assignments for this year are below. Thank you for serving. Please update the CID at future meetings of what transpires in these committees.
