In the 1930s-1940s, the WPA recorded the histories of formerly enslaved people in the US. Finding the original narratives in Texas archives, Dionne Babineaux, founder of the Museum of Undertold Texas History, determined that many of them were altered when published. Join us as she discusses her research.
