The annual Undergraduate Research Exposition affords undergraduate researchers the opportunity to showcase research projects of their own design under the guidance of a faculty mentor. This year's event will be hybrid, with virtual sessions in the morning and a live session in the Setzer Student Center in the afternoon:

Keynote Speaker Dr. Jay Prigmore will talk about My career pathway: From prospective professional baseball player to engineer manager at Google Inc. How Lamar University played a pivotal role in my career path. Prigmore received his bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Lamar University and his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from Arizona State University. He is presently employed at Google Inc. as an Electrical Field Reliability Technical Program Manager.
