Join us for Gattaca (1997) staring Ethan Hawke and Uma Thurman. In this story, Vincent Freeman, a child of “faith birth,” must confront the privileged class of genetically engineered humans to achieve his dream of space travel.

Presenter: Dr. Tina Kibbe, Instructor, History.
Dr. Kibbe studies the history of science and medicine and U.S. women's history. Her research interests include eugenics, genetics, public health, and gender studies.

Admission is free.
