Room 119, Lucas Engineering Building

The Lamar University STEM Students of Color Alliance presents Dr. Telpriore "Greg" Tucker as the second speaker in our new series. Dr. Tucker will be presenting A Flexible All-inorganic Fuel Cell Membrane

Dr. Telpriore “Greg” Tucker is a postdoctoral research associate with an emphasis in electrochemistry in the School of Molecular Sciences at Arizona State University. Greg is a broad member of the Arizona Green Chamber of Commerce. He is also manuscript referee for the peer-reviewed, International Journal of Hydrogen Energy. His focus is the synthesize and characterization of ionic liquids, molten salts, and plastic crystals for ion conduction in electrochemical device applications. For example, to be novel chemical components inside new devices like hydrogen-oxygen fuel cells along with sodium-ion and lithium-ion batteries. He is a co-inventor with the Angell lab group for his research contribution towards a new proprietary material for fuel cell technology that has been issued a patent and another that is patent pending for a potential solid-state battery.
