Venue Options

Lamar University has several venues available on campus. Event spaces at Lamar University are open to the public but official campus events receive priority booking. For non-campus events, venues are not formally reserved until the University receives a non-refundable deposit of one half of the total rental amount as well as the signed contract.

8th Floor (Gray Library)

Overview

Located in the Mary and John Gray Library, the 8th Floor overlooks the Lamar University campus and the city of Beaumont. This 10,000-square-foot facility is an ideal setting for your event. The 8th Floor is a distinguished setting for catered meetings, receptions, dinners, and seminars. Executive Event Space (Reaud Administration Building)

Training Room 113 and The Hatchery (CICE)

Overview

Built for community engagement and outreach, Training Room 113 can be separated into two smaller rooms, (A & B), by a retractable door. The Training Room is perfect for workforce graduation ceremonies, leadership events, and meetings.

The Hatchery is an interactive, state-of-the-art space designed to foster dynamic innovation and collaboration. It's ideal as a breakout space from larger meetings or for meet and greets!

Project Instruction Room 203 (STEM Building)

Overview

The Project Instruction Room is a bright, bold space inside of the new Science and Technology Building that boasts views of the lobby and the Makerspace below. Featuring two oversized projector screens, the room is tailor-made for meetings, classes, and presentations. The standard setup for the Project Instruction Room consists of classroom-style seating for approximately 40 guests.
