Virtual Career Fair
The LU Engineering Career fair gives companies access to promising engineering students who are looking to embark on a career or co-op/internship. The LU Engineering Career Fair draws high achieving students from Chemical, Civil and Environmental, Electrical, Industrial and Mechanical Engineering. We are hosting the Fall 2021 Career Fair both in person and virtually.
About the Virtual Career Fair
The LU Engineering Career Fair will take place on September 9th from 12-5pm on Microsoft Teams. Once registered, employers will receive the following:
- Access to your company's personal booth, where you can customize your logo and add brochures, documents, or other company information
- Ability to video chat publically with all students who enter your booth
- Ability to hold private video or chat sessions with promising candidates
- Unlimited representatives
- Ability to receive resumes from students in real time
- Resume book of all Career Fair attendees after the event
- Interview rooms available to book for in-person interviews after the fair
Recruiting Tips
- Post and update open positions on Handshake
- Have at least three recruiters on hand for the virtual fair. One to maintain the main booth and two to hold private chats with candidates
- Include alumni on your career fair team
- Host information sessions. Email Haley Strahan or contact a student organization to schedule a session.
- Utilize our campus spaces to interview students
