Practice Experiences

During your learning experience, we provide supervised practice experiences, courses, conferences, seminars, projects, and individual instruction. Your goal, with our help and supervision, is to develop responsibility as a professional staff member.

Your instructors will evaluate your professional growth, effectiveness in each rotation, and performance on course projects. We provide counseling sessions on a formal and informal basis throughout the program.

During the program, you will gain experience in clinical dietetics, foodservice management, community nutrition, and nutrition education and counseling. The program includes a 4-week staff rotation.
