History in Motion: Chicago (2002)

Location: Dishman Theater, Room 101

The LU History Department will screen Chicago (2002) as part of the History in Motion film series. This Rob Marshall adaptation of the popular Broadway musical follows the tumultuous lives of Roxy Hart (Renée Zellweger) and Velmy Kelley (Catherine Zeta-Jones) in 1920s Chicago.

In celebration of Women's History Month, the Office of Global Diversity and Inclusive Excellence will be having its 3rd Annual Inspirational Woman Reception. Awards will be given to a female faculty, staff, student, and alumni. The theme for this year is But Still I Rise in tribute to Dr. Maya Angelou, a phenomenal woman.
