Purpose

To create a university-wide campus culture of collective responsibility and accountability for the promotion and advancement of diversity, equity and inclusive excellence through concise intercultural competence sensitivity training, assessment, and follow up actions.

Vision

Promote and advance campus-wide diversity equity and inclusion cultural sensitivity training.

The components of these face-to-face and online training sessions will include but are not limited to:

  • Unconscious Bias
  • Cultural Sensitivity
  • Policy and Procedures
  • Diversity and Inclusive Excellence
  • Hiring practices and procedures for minority/multicultural staff and faculty
  • Compliance
