Good afternoon. As we head into Independence Day Weekend, I wanted to check in with you. We are truly all in this together during this time of uncertainty. I have many students, faculty and staff as well as members of the community asking me our plans for the fall.

Right now, we are operating under the assumption that we will hold classes on campus and online. As we focus on classes during this fall semester, we are taking into account what the governor tells us we can do and looking at the actions of other universities in the state. We also are listening to everyone’s concerns – rest assured, you are being heard. If you do have a question, I encourage you to talk to your professors if you are a student or your department chair or dean if you are staff or faculty.

The campus is currently open – all buildings are open, offices are staffed and we hope to keep it this way as we move forward. Know that we are doing the best we can and I sincerely hope each of you are doing well. Enjoy the three-day weekend.
