Elective Courses
At least 6 semester hours must be taken in 4000-5000 level public history courses.
Up to 6 hours may be taken may be taken in other 4000-5000 level history courses or courses outside the Department of History - with Department Chair approval.

Elective Courses
At least 24 semester hours of history courses. At least 9 must be in 4000-5000 level public history courses. Up to 15 semester hours may be taken in other 4000-5000 level history courses. Up to 6 semester hours may be taken outside the Department of History as approved by the Department Head. A minimum of 6 hours must be taken in seminar or readings courses.
