He had a long and successful career at PriceWaterhouseCoopers, retiring as Managing Partner of the Houston office.

Throughout his career at PwC, he held positions of increasing responsibility, including Partner in Charge of Tax Practice, Chairman World Petroleum Industry Practice, and U.S. Management Committee member. James serves on the Board of Directors and Chair of the Audit Committee for Copano Energy, LLC and for Exterran, GP, LLC where he is also a member of the Compensation Committee. Mr. Crump is involved in many community and professional organizations, helping today's youth becoming successful contributors to their respective communities.

Known For: As a member of the U.S. Management Committee he was instrumental in the merger of Price Waterhouse and Cooper & Lybrand, which resulted in the world's largest professional business services firm.
