He has served as president of the Lamar University Foundation. Mr. Reese currently serves as a member of the Board of Advisors of the College of Business at Lamar University, and his generosity was instrumental in the development of the Reese Construction Management Program at Lamar University.


Affiliations: Founder and former president of Bo-Mac Contractors, formed in 1966.

He has served on the boards of the Beaumont Chamber of Commerce, Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital and the Art Museum of Southeast Texas.


Known for: A true entrepreneur, while still a full-time student, he co-founded Collegiate Diamonds of America to sell engagement rings to college students and operated a flight school (which he later bought) at the Beaumont Municipal Airport.
