During LU's Welcome Week, transfer students brought their former school t-shirts to the LU Swag Swap and
Bailey Broussard and Kalan Bonnette
got new Lamar University merch. The event was a great way to welcome transfer students to their new home and recycle for the benefit of local animals. “We're using the old items to make dog toys to donate to the Humane Society,” said Bailey Broussard, representing the Department of New Student and Leadership Programs.
