'Art History in the Making: Art in the Age of Coronavirus' with Stephanie Chadwick

Lamar University is pleased to offer a lecture by Dr. Stephanie Chadwick, Assistant Professor of Art History in the Department of Art and Design. Dr. Chadwick discusses the relevance of art in the present moment and how to think through contemporary art as it is emerging, showing several examples of contemporary art created in the context of the coronavirus pandemic.

Dr. Stephanie Chadwick is an art historian who specializes in twentieth-century art. She is completing a book about Jean Dubuffet's post-WWII art.
