Making A Difference

Social Work Students White Coat

Social workers make a fundamental difference in society through education, advocacy, case management, and clinical work.  It is the creative blending of the cognitive (thinking), affective (feeling), and behavioral (doing) abilities of the social worker which empower positive change in clients, systems, and social conditions.

Social work is one of the fastest growing fields in the U.S. today.  Social workers are employed in hospitals, schools, mental health facilities, treatment centers, government & human service agencies, and many more locations.  Social workers truly make a difference in the lives of others.
