To help you get enrolled as easy as possible, in lieu of appointments, all students will meet with your advisor in the order of arrival, so we suggest coming early!

Transfer Freshman, Sophomore, and all Pre-Nursing Students

Contact the Undergraduate Advising Center today to schedule your appointment for advising. If you feel comfortable registering for courses without the help of a UAC advisor, you are welcome to schedule your advising appointment prior to registration.  If you would like help with the enrollment process at Lamar University, you may want to schedule your appointment after registration opens.

Urgent Questions/Problems

Students who have urgent questions or problems should contact their UAC advisor directly.  If an immediate decision or answer is needed, you can check with the front desk staff at the UAC to see if your advisor is available for a quick walk-in advising meeting.  During peak advising times your advisor may not be available for a walk-in meeting and should be contacted directly via email or phone.

Walk-in Advising

Advisors will see students on a walk-in basis for schedule changes during the week prior to the start of the Fall and Spring semesters. Walk-in advising meetings are also typically available around deadlines to drop and add classes.
