LU Black Alumni Network Scholarship Gala

Lamar University Black Alumni Network Homecoming Scholarship Gala

LU Black Alumni Network Celebrates Homecoming!

Join the Lamar University Black Alumni Network on Friday, November 12, 2021 for its inaugural Homecoming Scholarship Gala at the Compro Event Center located at 4155 W Cardinal Drive, Beaumont, TX 77705.

We are excited to connect face-to-face again as Homecoming is expected to be bigger and better this year. Homecoming festivities will be held Monday, November 8 and conclude on Saturday, November 13, 2021.

The goal of the gala is to raise funds to establish the LU Black Alumni Network Scholarship to benefit Lamar University students. This in-person event will feature dinner, dancing, bar, live performances, photo booth, and a special guest appearance from Lamar University's new president, Dr. Jaime Taylor.

Guests will dance the night away to the fabulous sounds of a live band directed by Canice Njoku '12 and DJ Mr. Fresh (Matthew Berry).

Doors open at 7:00pm and early arrival is strongly suggested. Attire is formal attire.
