Students with an Associates or Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher education are exempt from the TSI Assessment.

The purpose of the TSI law is to ensure that you are prepared to take college-level courses, and you demonstrated this by earning a degree.

If You Have an Associate's or Bachelor's Degree, Your Next Steps

  1. Check your Self-Service Banner account to ensure that we have received and evaluated your transcripts.

  2. Check your holds and address any that would prevent your advising session.

      1. Common holds that must be addressed prior to making your advising appointment:
        • TSI (If you see a TSI hold listed, contact the Undergraduate Advising Center to have your TSI status updated based upon previous degree). 
        • Meningitis Requirement 
        • TB Requirement
        • International Holds
        • Title IX Training Required
      2. Common holds that will be addressed during your advising session:
        • UAC Advising 
        • Mandatory Advising
        • Academic Probation
        • Pre-Professional Advising
        • State Drops Remaining
  3. After you complete the above steps, you are eligible to make your advising appointment.
