Lamar University's Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Sciences with a concentration in clinical prepares you diagnose and treat diseases.This program combines many sciences, including microbiology, hematology, chemistry, molecular biology and immunology. You'll learn to perform a variety of tests, ensure the accuracy of the results, explain the significance of lab results and evaluate new methods for tests. The goal of this program is to prepare you to function as professional members of a healthcare team.
