Article IV - Officers, Eligibility and Representation
Section 1. Officers
- Staff Council Officers shall be a President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and the most recent Past President.
- These officers shall be referred to as Staff Council Officers.
- The Past President shall serve as an ex-officio member provided they continue to serve as an elected Council member.
Section 2. Eligibility
- Candidates for officer nominations shall have, at least, one (1) year of Staff Council membership experience.
- This requirement may be waived by a quorum vote of the Council.
- A Council member with a Staff Council Disciplinary Action on record, shall not be eligible for a Council officer position.
Section 3. Representation
- Staff Council officers are not required to represent their respective division and/or departments with the exception of the Staff Council Past President. At the end of a Council officer’s term of office, they shall resume representation status of their division and/or department for the remainder of their Council membership term.
